Extended Medical benefit insurance providers
We Direct Bill Insurance.
Georgia West Therapeutics provides direct billing for most extended medical benefit insurance providers.
All extended medical plans vary based on annual amount and amount paid per treatment. We suggest you check with your insurance provider to ensure what level of coverage you have. Please note that in rare cases we cannot guarantee success of direct billing to your 3rd party insurer, as such, please be prepared to pay for your treatment which you can then submit manually for reimbursement.
In consideration for your therapist and other patients, we ask for a minimum of 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment; otherwise, you will be responsible for the full treatment fee.
We accept Cash, Debit, and Credit cards (excluding American Express)
Are you registered?
Yes, all of our therapists are registered by the College of Massage Therapists of British Columbia.
Will my extended health plan cover the cost of my treatment?
The coverage varies depending on your insurance plan, please check with your insurance provider for further details.

You do not require a doctor’s referral to see an RMT; however, some insurance companies require the patient get a doctor’s referral before seeing an RMT in order to have your receipt claimed.
Do you do pregnancy massages? Is it safe?
Yes, we offer prenatal and postnatal massages. Pregnancy massages are perfectly safe and even recommended to help relieve muscle tension, decrease back and pelvic pain, manage swelling, decrease stress, and improve sleep. Massage position can be modified to suit patients’ comfort if needed.

Initial treatments include filling out a patient history form (we recommend coming in 5 minutes earlier than your appointment time), followed by an assessment and evaluation by your therapist. The remainder of the appointment will consist of treatment and instructions of home care exercises when appropriate.

Depending on your treatment, you may feel sore or tender afterwards. Your therapist may suggest home care exercises and hydrotherapy to assist in maximal healing.
